Life gets busy and it’s really easy to fall into a routine. We drive the same way to work, eat the same food, wear the same clothes, work with the same people and do the same exercises. Not because we have to, it’s just routine.

This year I challenged myself to “mix it up” when it comes to working out. This is probably a little extreme for some, but this is a typical week for me:
Monday: Run 1.5 miles, lift weights, Krav Maga class
Tuesday: Krav Maga conditioning class
Wednesday: Run 1.5 miles, lift weights, Krav Maga class
Thursday: day off
Friday: Run 3 miles followed by 3 sets of 12 - pushups, single leg lunges, & pull ups.
Saturday: Run 1.5 miles, lift weights or hike badger
Sunday: Hot yoga at Bikram in Kennewick, 4-mile walk along the river.

Okay, so I know that’s a lot, but it makes me feel great and I’m in the best shape of my life. I couldn’t do it without some help from my friends at Max Muscle in Richland. I supplement my workouts with a variety of products such as; protein powder, vitamins and other supplements that help me reach my goals. Needs some help to get started?
