Kahlotus Days, or Kahlotus DAY, will be on Saturday, June 4th. The yearly celebration is the first weekend in June to celebrate the beginning of summer.
What's expected this year?
The day's event begins with a 5-k fun run scheduled for an early start at 6:45 am. While the run isn't for everyone, breakfast is!
The Lion's Club breakfast starts at 7 am and will continue serving till 9:30 am. Softball games will get underway at 8 am. The car show starts at 9 am, and the grand event, THE PARADE will be at 11 am.
A Kids Zone will be featured from 12 pm till 4 pm featuring a water slide and a bounce house.
The day promises to be unbelievably fun! Especially for kids, there will be all kinds of activities, including a Jousting/Eliminator Competition for ages 5 through 17 at 4:45 pm.
For adults, 18 and over, there's a mechanical bull-riding competition starting at 6 pm. The winner will receive the much-coveted golden belt buckle.
Over 20 vendors are expected at Kahlotus Days featuring clothing, food, crafts, and more.
