City Park, Benton City Friday & Saturday, December 9 & 10 4 P.M. - 10 P.M. There is a holiday lighting display in Benton City's City Park. Friday and Saturday nights feature special entertainment, activities, a camp fire, and complimentary cookies and cocoa. |
The Emerald of Siam, Richland Friday & Saturday, December, 9 & 10 5:30 P.M. - 8:30 P.M. Grab a delicious Thai meal at The Emerald of Siam and enjoy the music of "Strings Attached." |
Shores of the Columbia River, Tri-Cities Friday & Saturday, December 9 & 10 6 P.M. - 9 P.M. The parade begins at Clover Island in Kennewick and then proceeds to Howard Amon Park in Richland, arriving around 7:30 p.m., then returns back to Clover Island. |
Barbershop Holiday Concert Richland Community Center Friday, December 9 6 P.M. - 8 P.M. All ages are invited to join a festive musical performance by the Columbia River Chordsmen barbershop group. Enjoy a mix of holiday songs and songs from yesteryear. Come in and warm up with great holiday music in anticipation of the Lighted Boat Parade arrival. Free admission. |

Chief Joseph Middle School, Richland Friday, December 9 6:30 P.M. - 9 P.M. This annual concert presented by the non-profit Tri-Cities Steel Band Association is free to the public. The concert features performances by students, 4th grade through High School, the Marimba Band "Bahuru," as well as performances by the steel bands OK2Botay and Bram Brata. |

LIGO Hanford Observatory, Richland Saturday, December 10 1:30 P.M. - 3:30 P.M. Tour one of two gravitational wave observatories in the U.S. Your LIGO host will provide a presentation about LIGO's research and will conduct a walking tour of the Observatory, including a visit to the control room. Comfortable shoes are recommended. All ages are welcome. LIGO's facilities are wheelchair accessible. |
