Past Kennewick Superintendent Gets 10 for Solicitation Of Minors

A former Kennewick Superintendent of Schools will be serving 10 years in prison for solicitation of sex from minors.

The judgement came down yesterday for Paul Rosier - a former Kennewick Superintendent of Schools - after he pleaded guilty to attempted sex trafficking.

According to court documents, Rosier was communicating with who he believed to be a 16-year-old girl in April of last year about a sexual encounter with her and a 13-year-old girl.

          Rosier allegedly arranged to meet up with the girls at the Hampton            Inn in Richland, where officers arrested him in a sting operation                  with the Southeast Regional Internet Crimes Against Children                    Taskforce.

Rosier was a long time Kennewick school district superintendent until 2006.

Rosier was also sentenced to a lifetime of supervision after his release and must register as a sex offender. He must also pay a fine of $105,000.

Rosier will spend his time in a Arizona prison close to his family and could be released on home arrest if he develops a terminal illness during his incarceration.
