It was a windy windy Saturday in the Tri-Cities and we experienced winds up to 50 MPH according to the National Weather Service.

There was a wind advisory in effect but that didn't seem to detour Mother Nature from making herself known.

The Winco sign had parts of their letters missing in Kennewick and trash cans and stop signs where rolling down the street.

The West Richland Police and Kennewick Police did their best clearing roadways and cleaning up messes that included downed trees and a flying trampoline.

It was a crazy day with the photos below courtesy of the West Richland Police and Kennewick Police shows the havoc that the winds caused yesterday.

The National Weather Service is reporting that winds will die down over Sunday to about 20 - 25 MPH which is a little more normal for us here in the Tri-Cities.
