I have a neighbor who is only about a month away from having his new home completed. Financing is locked in, everything is in line and then BAM! Everything stops and the rate he had locked in will expire. The house sits unfinished and will continue to do so until the Stay At Home order is lifted. Unless, that is, if the Governor would consider allowing construction to continue. That's just what the Homebuilders Association of Tri-Cities is hoping. They have written the Governor asking him to reconsider thinking that construction is a non-essential activity.
