DOH Reports Vaccination Allocation Update for Coming Weeks
The Washington State Department of Health has released allotment information for the next several weeks, listing how many vaccines the state is due to receive. Data as of late Thursday, 2-25.
DOH says so far 1,411,453 COVID-19 vaccines total have been administered, and this last week the state met its goal of vaccinating 45,000 people per day. This goal was achieved for the first time since the program began.
DOH says the upcoming weeks will see the following amounts:
- "Week of February 28: 279,800 total doses (156,640 first doses, 123,160 second doses)
- Week of March 7: 285,200 total doses (156,640 first doses, 128,560 second doses)
- Week of March 14: 313,280 total doses (156,640 first doses, 156,640 second doses)."
If a third vaccine from Johnson & Johnson-Janssen is approved and gets Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the FDA, it will be reportedly available in March, according to the DOH. Numbers or allocations for that vaccine not yet available.
