It's another Wet Nose Wednesday Spotlight with our friends from Pet OverPopulation Prevention and this week's star is a very sweet special girl named Riley.

Riley is a sweet 9-year-old girl that is looking for a new home, due to no fault of her own. Riley is blind in one eye due to a congenital defect but that doesn't bother her or stop her from being a happy healthy dog. She loves to be a part of her family and hanging out with her people.

Riley is a fan of belly rubs and will give you gentle kisses to say thank you. She is respectful of the property and will not get on furniture unless she is encouraged to. She has good leash manners leash and is always looking to her people for direction and praise.
She's in the sweet spot for her age where she still has lots of energy to play but is past the puppy destruction and the ever-constant need for activity that Aussie shepherds are known for. Riley is not a huge fan of the car so frequent car rides would not be something she will find fun.

Riley has lived with children of all ages, but she would prefer her new home to have no children or only older children as she is not a fan of the loud, rambunctious nature that can come with younger kiddos.
Riley is good with other dogs but hasn't shown much interest in playing with her foster canine siblings nor her bunny companion. Humans are her favorite for sure!
Riley is spayed, up to date on vaccines, have been dewormed, microchipped and recently had dental done! Her adoption fee is $200.
If you are interested in adopting or fostering this sweet girl please send an email to dogsadopt@popptricities.org or complete our dog adoption questionnaire: https://www.popptricities.org/adopt/adoption-questionnaire-canine/
