Washington State has had its share of unsolved mysteries over the years. One that stands out and still baffles many to this day is the “Maury Island Incident,” which happened a few days before the famous Roswell UFO event.

One of the more unusual UFO sightings in Washington features the daylight abduction of an elk near Mount St. Helens.

Running the numbers from 2000 to 2023, there have been 112,914 UFO sightings reported to the National UFO Reporting Center!

Cow mutilations date back many years and what makes them so mysterious is the fashion in which the cows are mutilated – tongues and sex organs removed, jawbone skinned, and other lacerations that could only be made with a precision-style instrument. 'Unsolved Mysteries' looks at who or what is causing the mutilations. Some say it's being done by those not of this world.

Strange lights were spotted and filmed in the night sky over Yakima Washington last week which left people asking questions.

According to the National UFO Reporting Center, residents of Washington State have reported 6885 UFOs since the reporting center was founded in 1974. That’s an average of 143 reports a year in Washington. Only California and Florida have more.

Since August 1, 2022, there have been 20 UFO sightings reported in Washington. Which is slightly above average, and it’s not surprising, as Washington ranks number one in the nation for UFO sightings.
