New Richland Ice Cream Shop Is a Gem of an Idea

A new Richland Ice Cream shop is opening in October but it has a gem of a twist that makes the shop truly unique.

Amethyst Creamery is set to open in October and owner Doug Tallman couldn't be more excited.

He's a self-proclaimed rock hound and the new shop will have a wide selection of gems to choose from while you are enjoying your ice cream treats.

Amethyst will serve about 28 flavors of ice cream, plus a vegan and a lactose-free line

Amethyst Creamery has a great location at the opening of Howard Amon Park and right next to the new $20 million Park Place apartment complex.
