Fiery Crash Snarls Columbia Center Boulevard Traffic

Richland Police and Fire Units on the scene at Columbia Center Boulevard and Tapteal, for a fiery two-vehicle crash that occurred just before 10:30am Thursday morning. Both vehicles appeared to be turning to, or headed, south.

Police did not offer specifics as to how it occurred, but ended up with both vehicles being engulfed in flames, and police say both are a total loss.

The intersection is just north of Columbia Center Mall, right before the overpass crossing Highway 240. Fortunately, police say there were no injuries.
