Drivers Licenses Extended 90 Days if Expire 3-1 Thru 6-30
Kennewick Police and other law enforcement agencies announced Wednesday a new 'amnesty' program by the Department of Licensing.
Because the DOL and DMV are essentially closed to testing and other important renewal requirements, a window has been given an extension.
If your license EXPIRES (EXPIRED) between March 1 and June 30, you will be given an additional 90 days to get it renewed--without penalty. If you are pulled over for any reason, and your license fits these criteria, you won't be ticketed for the expired card.
