Car vs. Trailer Triggers Huge Fire in Benton City RV Park
A lot of unanswered questions still about this early Thursday morning fire at the Beach RV Campground in Benton City, it's located just north of the Yakima River, on the west side of 1st. street.
Benton County Deputies and fire units responded a few hours ago. According to reports, a vehicle either ran into, or backed hard into a trailer, triggering the blaze. The fire spread to several camp trailers, but no word of any injuries.
It is not specifically known what started the fire, possibly a broken or ruptured propane line or tank. The cleanup and investigation continues.
