“Traveling COVID Test Trailer” Shows Up in Tri-Cities

According to their Facebook page and other information, Lynx Healthcare's "mobile" COVID-19 testing trailer is making stops around the region.

The trailer was spotted Wednesday morning parked on Clearwater Ave. in Kennewick, across the street from the Yakima Federal Savings and Loan branch area.

The statement on their Facebook page, which on Wednesday said was posted 15 hours ago, read in part :

"Lynx Healthcare is excited to announce we will begin sending out our mobile COVID Viral & Antibody Testing unit this month! More information coming soon!"

Lynx Healthcare was started in 2008, according to their website, as a single "private specialty clinic." It has grown to include multiple health centers in a variety of areas in Washington state and New Mexico.

Information about this testing was first announced by Lynx in a statement May 7, also posted on their Facebook page, which read in part:

"Lynx Healthcare Laboratory is happy to announce we are now one of the very few labs on the Washington Department Of Health list for COVID-19 testing.

Lynx Healthcare Laboratory is CLIA Certified and CAP Accredited. This will ensure that your COVID-19 test results are of the highest quality you can get in the nation!"

No immediate word on dates, times, or any potential cost of the tests. A search of the Washington State Department of Health website turned up no details about the Lynx affiliated testing.
