Cale Moon Local Country Artist Doin’ Good! [VIDEO]

Remember this spring we had the privilage of meeting a young man from Benton City by the name of Cale Moon? Well cale is doin' pretty good and even spent some time in Nashville! Want to see what is happening with this rising star?

Cale Moon and his parents flew to Nashville in May to see what it was all about and Bear set up an introduction to Fred Vail of Treasure Island Studios in Nashville. Fred was great he took Cale and his family backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, toured the legendary Studio B at RCA Records in Nashville and then Fred said "let me see what you got kid"? Cale played some songs and pretty soon Cale was playing with some of Nashville's top musicians including Garth Brook's lead guitar player Chris Leuzinger and some other very notable musicians. The sessions went great and Cale was only taken out back to the woodshed a couple of times according to reports.

Fred sent Bear a message yesterday to let me know that things are progressing on Cale's music and some other projects that he is working on. Here is what Fred had to say. "NICE TO CLOSE OUT DEC WITH THE #1 AND #2 COUNTRY SINGLES--LADY A, 'WE OWN THE NIGHT,' (MIXED AT TI) AND JASON'S "TATOOES. WE TRACKED JASON'S 5TH ALBUM--AND DID THE PRINCIPAL OVERDUBS...NOT SURE WHEN IT'S SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE--THINK THEY PULLED A 5TH SINGLE---FLY OVER STATES--WHICH HAS BEEN A FAVORITE OF MINE AND ENGINEER PETE COLEMAN FOR MONTHS. HOPE IT GOES TO #1. HOPE TO WRAP UP CALE'S OVERDUBS SOON--PERCUSSION AND BACKGROUND VOCALS--THEN MIXING WILL WRAP IT UP. ITS COMING ALONG--JUST GOT CAUGHT IN THE THANKSGIVING/CHERISTMAS/NEW YEARS SEASON. EAGER TO HEAR YOUR REPONSE
