Another DUI Driver Busted with Child in Vehicle

Kennewick police say a 25-year-old woman arrested for DUI after slamming her car up onto curb and sidewalk had her child in the vehicle with her.

Around 2:21am Sunday morning, 25-year-old Trisha K. Veder was headed East on 4th away from Edison Street when she ran a red light, then hit the curb popping the right front tire.  The car then bounced up onto the sidewalk.

Officers got a call about the wreck, and were able to locate her and the vehicle. Inside they found alcohol, and she was found to be driving under the influence. She was also cited for reckless endangerment because she had her child in the vehicle with her. No other information released about the age of the youth.

Veder was taken to the Benton County jail.
