A Feel Good Event Was a Dog-Gone Good Event

Imagine more then 10 animal adoption agencies in one place for 5 hours with over 150 volunteers and 700 people show-up, some shopping for new furry-four legged family members. That's the reality of the 4th annual Jenny's Hope - Super Pet Adoption this past Saturday, April 27th, at the band stand in the East end of Columbia Park. Windy conditions couldn't stop the adoption of 40+ pets with more pending adding up to nearly 60 homes with new pets. Our KOOL FM country cousins, 102.7 KORD, were there to broadcast live as I took a break from the McCurley Off-Site sale to walk just down Columbia Park Trail to visit this very exciting event. Congratulations to all who donated money, material, time and found a new pet.
