There are 3 types of distracted driving, visual, manual, and cognitive. Distracted driving is anything that takes your eyes off the road, hands off the wheel, and taking your mind off drving. Cellphone use, talking to passengers, being lost in thought, eating or drinking, and dealing with pets and children are the most common.

April is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month.
