If you are looking for something to do this weekend there is plenty of Christmas things with the biggest being the Lighted Boat Parade on the Columbia River which starts at 6p Friday and Saturday Nights! There are also some new Christmas event as well so check it all out here.

There is a holiday lighting display in Benton City’s City Park.  Friday and Saturday nights feature special entertainment, activities, a camp fire, and complimentary cookies and cocoa.

  Christmas Lighted Boat Parade

Shores of the Columbia River, Tri-Cities

6 P.M. – 9 P.M.

The parade begins at Clover Island in Kennewick and then proceeds to Howard Amon Park in Richland, arriving around 7:30 p.m., then returns back to Clover Island.

Barbershop Holiday Concert

All ages are invited to join a festive musical performance by the Columbia River Chordsmen barbershop group.  Enjoy a mix of holiday songs and songs from yesteryear.  Come in and warm up with great holiday music in anticipation of the Lighted Boat Parade arrival. Free admission.

It only gets worse for poor Sara Crewe when a distressing event unfolds to leave her impoverished and at the mercy of the jealous Miss Minchin. Sara undergoes numerous trials as she humbly allows herself to be subjected to servitude, but with the help of several dear friends (both seen and unseen), she remains as proud and unwavering and imaginative as ever, proving to all that anyone can be “A Little Princess.”

  LIGO Observatory Tour

LIGO Hanford Observatory, Richland

Tour one of two gravitational wave observatories in the U.S. Your LIGO host will provide a presentation about LIGO’s research and will conduct a walking tour of the Observatory, including a visit to the control room.
