A documentary called "Alive Inside" featured a man named Henry with extreme Alzheimer's disease who was unable to answer simple "yes" or "no" questions after a series of strokes. His recreational therapist began having him listen to his favorite music and he "woke up" -- so to speak. He's not cured of his Alzheimer's disease, but he's able to converse again to a limited extend. Watch his face as he listens!

In the video clip you'll hear from a couple experts including Oliver Sacks, a neurologist who has written numerous best-sellers about the brain including one about the influence of music on the brain.

I'd love to try this with my grandma!
