Fire Along I-82 Likely Started By Target Practice [VIDEO]

Two fires over the weekend kept the Benton County Fire District busy. A fire started near Benton City on Sunday has already burnt close to 1000 acres.

According to reports from the Benton County Fire District #2, target practice is likely the start of what they are calling the Gibbon Road Fire.

Several people were out shooting at targets when one of the ricocheting bullets caused a spark resulting in the wildfire.
