Have you noticed the street lights in West Richland being dimmer or brighter? Well it's not your imagination it is actually a study being performed by the City of West Richland and scientists from PNNL.

A post from the West Richland Police department explains:

The City of West Richland has been participating in a national lighting study with PNNL, and part of that entails modifying the brightness of our street lights. Our street lights are normally set to 75%, but will be going to 50% tomorrow, and then up to 100% on Thursday. This is all lights within the city, with the exception of those along Van Giesen which will remain untouched. Starting Friday, these lights will go back to their normal setting.
