Dogs and Owners are both going to be ecstatic as the City of Pasco has announced that a new dog park is opening up soon in the city.

Richland has a popular dog park but the drive from Pasco and Kennewick can take some time so it's great that Pasco is now opening up their own dog park.

The city announced that it had set aside $200,000 from it's capitol improvement budget for 2019 to build the dog park.

The dog park is designated to be near the current Animal Shelter by the Columbia River near "A" street in Pasco. The dog park will have several different zoned and fenced areas giving dogs ample room to roam and play.

The City hopes to complete the dog park by mid-summer or early fall. You can check out more details on the new dog park here
