This record-breaking jackpot is generating excitement all over the country!

A little more than five months ago, a Los Angeles woman bought a lottery ticket at Michael’s Market & Liquor. She then left it in her car and forgot about it, obviously not that enthused with her 18 million-to-one odds of hitting the jackpot. Unbeknownst to her, she hit that jackpot to the turn of $23 million.

It's amazing how quickly our office pool went from a friendly collection for tickets to a formal email and photo copies of all the tickets.

If you thought a half a billion was big - hang on!  The jackpot has officially been raised to 540-million dollars for the drawing on Friday.   I wouldn't doubt if it grows again tomorrow.
