Police and Ink Blotter: KPD Seeks Arrest of a Loner Toner Thief
This guy allegedly put some thought into what he was going to swipe.
Sometimes temptation presents a situation where it can be hard to say no in the moment.
But this cat, he goes into Office Depot in Kennewick and cuts the bands that surround high priced items like ink cartridges and stuffs them in a backpack before casually sauntering out of the store. The thief allegedly absconded with over $1000 in merchandise.
Ballsy.

On 08/01/19, this unidentified male entered Office Depot in Kennewick. After removing the security devices from several ink toner boxes he proceeded to place them in his backpack. He then left the store without paying for the toner which was valued at $1,125.
