Seems like we just celebrated the first day of summer, but it's already time to start thinking about the first day of school. For some local kids (and their parents), though, that isn't all that happy a thought.
Not just because it means summer is winding down, but because they're not sure how they're going to get enough supplies together to be ready for classes this fall.
Good news, though: The bus is on its way!
Yup, for the next three weeks, Townsquare Media and some of our favorite local partners are again collecting school supplies and other donations for area students in need.
It's our annual Stuff the Bus drive, brought to you by Joe Peterson Insurance in Richland.
Helping out couldn't be easier: Starting Monday, July 22nd bring your donations to any of the drop-off locations listed below by Aug. 9, and we'll take it from there. That's it! (Don't you wish algebra would've been that simple when you were in school?)
We've set up donation sites all over the Tri-Cities where you can drop off your donated backpacks and other needed school supplies.
