Washington State always seems to rank 4th or 5th in the nation for the most missing persons. Think about that...45 other states have fewer missing persons every year than we do. Scary.
Right now, the Benton County Sherrif's Office is searching for 44-year-old Charles A. Salter, who has been missing for quite some time now.
Surprisingly, Oregon is also in the top 5 for the most missing persons. Not surprisingly, Alaska is No.1. Ever been to Alaska? Ever watch Alaskan crime shows?
Arizona and Vermont round out the top 5 according to one report, and states like Maine, Wyoming, and even Hawaii are up there, too, depending on the year.
