Hermiston’s Free Bus Service Sees Usage Increase

Hermiston added some hours to their bus service and pleasantly saw an increase of riders in 2019.

The bus service is managed by the Hermiston Area Regional Transit (HART) and noted that an added 1,120 passengers enjoyed the service in 2019. A total of over 5,000 riders rode the bus in 2019.

Kayak Public Transit offers 21 free stops from 7 AM to 7 PM. HART expanded its hours and saw an increase in riders. The most popular destinations in Hermiston are Wal Mart and the Hermiston Plaza.

The expanded hours accommodated an additional 721 riders.
