Help Mid-Columbia Karate Champion Make It To World Championships!

Coming February 20th, you can help send one of our Tri-Citians to the World Karate Championships!

As seen here before on our website, and on the air,  Devon Brown of Pasco has been invited to be a part of Team USA at the World Karate Championships in Australia this May.

Fans and supporters of Devon will be holding a raffle event from 5:30-8pm at New Edge, located at 1350 Spaulding Ave. in Richland.   Among the items to be raffled off:

• Tri-City Court Club and LifeQuest gym memberships
• Sports and gift packages from the Tri-City Dust Devils, Sun Willows and Canyon Lakes Golf courses, Bluewood and Mission Ridge Ski Resorts.
• Restaurant and dining gift certificates from Hot Wings, Roccos Pizza, Atomic Ale and Brewery and Jack Didleys.
• Wine and gift baskets from Columbia Crest, Baker Boyer, and Airfield Estates.
• Gardening and Gift Certificates from Beaver Bark and Ranch and Home
• Plus other great prizes from Griggs Ace Hardware, Almeida Consulting, Danica's Scrapbooking of Hermiston and more!

A suggested $5 donation is being taken at the door and the night will include music and a live karate demonstration.  Wine tasting too for those 21 and older from Brix and Bitter.

Come help support the 'Kata Kid', Devon Brown, as this national champion goes for the World title in his age class. This 12-year old attends middle school in Pasco, and is trying to raise the $9,000 needed to cover the event.
