When I was a kid, my foster mom made me some beer pancakes. I was enthralled with the fact that I thought I was getting alcohol in my stack of pancakes. I was getting beer in the cakes but I don't know if I could actually taste the beer in the cakes.

Besides the regular pancakes that you find in the pancake batter made by Krusteaz, I was exposed to sourdough and beer pancakes when I was a kid.

I also remember my foster sister Kathy who was in college at the time washing her hair with beer.

I'm not sure if it was a thing in the early '80s but after a quick google search, I discovered that it's the real deal and legit. Yes, beer pancakes and washing your hair in beer.

I now know all these beer things weren't my imagination. We ate beer pancakes and washed our hair in beer, alright, I didn't get to wash my hair in beer as a kid but my foster sister did.

I haven't had beer pancakes since I was a kid and for the life of me, I can't remember what they tasted like.

I'm now all about making some beer pancakes, I noticed that the recipe doesn't call for milk which makes beer pancakes an ideal meal if you are lactose-intolerant.

I did some web-surfing and found a beer pancake recipe that might be worth trying.
