“You Meathead, You”

On this date in 1971 America was introduced to Archie Bunker, Edith, Gloria and Mike (meat head) I recall watching this show during the re runs in the afternoon with my mom after school. Believe it or not I was to young to watch the originals. I think it was the first time in my life I would laugh out loud at a TV show, seriously.The cast of characters would lead to spin-offs like,The Jeffersons,  and Maude. Nothing on the show was off limits, Archie tackled the tough issues like only he could. Religion, sex, politics, and African Americans were a few of Archie's hot topics, which most of the time views were so screwed up it made it something you could laugh at. The writers of the show were brilliant, and with that said, please enjoy some of the best 'Archie Isims' ever written. What was your favorite episode of All in the Family.
