Wendy’s Is First Local Restaurant Chain With ALL Coca Cola Freestyle Machines
I took my kids to Wendy's on Saturday to give mom some alone time on Mother's Day weekend.
They had a Kids Meal featuring a mini Cranium game and had a great time playing with the play dough. I ordered a flatbread chicken sandwich.
The thing I love most about Wendy's is how comfortable their dining room is. I feel like I could chill in there for hours.
And because it was hot as Hades on Saturday, and the air conditioning was blasting, I did stay a little over an hour! What really helped cool us off was the new Coca Cola Freestyle machine offering over 100 flavor combinations. Starting May 16 all Tri-Cities Wendy's locations will feature the machines.
I gave each of my kids a different flavor of Hi-C to try and I kept going back for different versions of ginger ale and Coca Cola. My favorite ended up being raspberry lime Hi-C although I was also a fan of the different Barq's Rootbeer combinations. A coworker said he loves how many of the flavor combinations are sugar-free, and therefore friendly to his diet.
Considering I had three children under age 7 with me, I ended up forgetting a stroller. I called the store and they graciously held on to it for me. That kind of service to the customer always brightens my day and makes me loyal. I plan to go back for lunch this week, in fact.
When you go, I recommend anything with the raspberry or grape flavoring!
