Tri-Cities' entertainment is fairly limited but we seem to continue to visit our local movie theaters. It's a great way to spend a couple hours, but at what cost? Tickets themselves are costly enough, running each adult around $10.00. Want to enjoy some popcorn, a box of candy and something to wash those down with? Expect to spend around $30.00. I love going to the movies, but I don't like having to pay an arm and a leg for a little amusement.

Fairchild cinema is my personal favorite. It's convenient, has several theaters, and has a very efficient concessions line, except when it comes to popcorn. And let's not forget the rocking chairs that make the show super comfortable.

Regal is nice because it's right inside the mall, so as soon as I'm done shopping, I can catch a movie. But it seems like the facility is a bit outdated.

Carmike is a really fancy place and looks a little vintage which I really like but the area to purchase tickets wasn't designed very well. If there's more than 20 people in line, which there usually is, someone is always standing right in the doorway, or is outside.
