Here in the Mid-Columbia we complain about our wind and sand, even occasional snow storms, but what hit Kentucky and Indiana is nothing short of having one foot in hell. In the Midwest some 30 tornadoes killed at least 52 people, 21 of those were from Kentucky. Mitch Daniels, Governor Indiana said the twisters, "Moved like a lawnmower through some of the most beautiful countryside, and some of the most beautiful towns that we have". While Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear said in the hard hit towns it was just total devastation. With looting a problem in some areas, and snow forecasted for some of the hardest hit areas in Kentucky and Indiana, these poor folks are far from out of the woods. Send them your

prayers and good thoughts, they could use it.
