This morning we were telling bat stories. Woody shared how his radio station in Alaska had bats living in the awnings for one month each year.

Greg told about a lie he was told as a kid that if he threw a ball of tinfoil at a bat hanging near a street lamp it would swoop down to grab it and accidentally crash into the ground. This would allow him to catch a bat. Every year you could find Greg beneath the street light throwing tinfoil in the air until his mom caught him. "What are you doing wasting tin foil? What would you do with a bat if you caught one? They're filthy!" If she hadn't seen him, he might still be out there today.
