Though the Grammys are still more than two months away, music fans can get a taste of the action tonight during the fourth annual ‘Grammy Nominations Concert Live’ special, featuring performances from several Grammy-worthy acts. Victims of the August 13 Indiana State Fair stage collapse are seeking justice. Forty-four survivors of the tragedy, as well as family members of those who died in the horrific accident, filed a lawsuit on Tuesday against those associated with the production of the show — including Sugarland.

We can’t think of a better way to spend the holiday season than with a full lineup of country’s hottest stars, and on December 1, we’ll have the pleasure of inviting Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Sugarland, Brad Paisley and more into our homes via our television screens. The ‘CMA Country Christmas’ event will air on ABC at 8PM ET that evening, but will be recorded live from Nashville a few weeks earlier.
If ‘American Idol’ winner Scotty McCreery keeps this pace up, he’ll be performing the halftime show at the Super Bowl before long. On the day the 18-year-old performed the National Anthem to kick off the World Series, it was announced he’d be performing at the 2011 CMA Awards in Nashville next month.

Who doesn’t love when their favorite singers cover a popular ’80s song? Last week, country duo Sugarland and singer/songwriter Sara Bareilles performed ‘Come On Eileen,’ as part of their show at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles.
Bareilles is currently touring with Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, who make up the bubbly country duo.
