In what might be the least surprising debut of the year, Lady Antebellum‘s new album has ended its first week at the top of the charts — pretty much all of them, in fact.
With sales of nearly 350,000 units, ‘Own the Night’ outpaced its competition by a wide margin, coming in at number one on the country charts, as well as Billboard’s overall Top 200 tally. As an added bonus, it also topped the album sales charts in Canada.
With millions of records sold in armloads of Grammys to their credit, the members of Lady Antebellum are certified country music royalty — so perhaps vocalist Hillary Scott was feeling like a princess the other night in New Hampshire when she met a frog backstage.
And even though Scott’s already found her prince in fiance Chris Tyrell, who can blame a girl for wanting to see if magic will strike twice?

Not your garden-variety performance clip, the ‘Just a Kiss’ video tells a story, following the reminiscences of a young lady on a train. After boarding, she takes out an iPad and starts watching a video message that triggers romantic memories — interwoven, naturally, with clips of Lady Antebellum, performing in a train station.
