Sure Beats A Starfish

Japan Commemorates First Anniversary Of Earthquake And TsunamiAfter the Japanese Tsunami, there is a lot of stuff floating around in the ocean, and seems a large portion of this stuff will land on the Canadian coast. The Kuroshio ocean current runs in a direct path from Japan’s east coast to North America. Peter Mark was riding his ATV on British Columbia’s Haida Gwaii islands when he found a large container that had washed ashore, and holy crap what a find. Mark said inside the large white cube was a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The bike was a little rusted, but still in pretty good shape. Peter said there was also some golf clubs, tools, and some camping equipment. Officials are using the license plate numbers to help find the owner in Japan which could be tricky with 1100 people dead or missing. Have you ever found anything interesting at the beach? Or anything worth any value?
