This all started a month ago when the Hermiston Police Chief mandated that officers start wearing body cameras. Recently, the first batch of footage has been released to give the public an idea of exactly what they look like on camera
"Mad Max: Fury Road" looked really stupid, and is the best-reviewed movies in years. Critics and audiences alike LOVE it! That got me thinking about other movies that looked dumb, but are in fact awesome:
Due to budget cuts, the Air Force has refused to perform flyovers at large community gatherings. They are resuming this year, but only at 450 events. The jets were requested at 5,000. Water Follies will get an F-16 but The Pendleton Round-Up was snubbed.
With all the budget cuts, military flyovers are a rare event. So, a bunch of guys with their own planes decided to change that. At first there were 10...then 20...then 30 pilots signing up until the total was 49!! Each plane trails pink smoke for cancer awareness
Hermiston is conducting a survey of residents asking how the city could improve green spaces. Now that summer is here we're all going to be spending more time at local parks. What do YOU think would make them better?
