When Greg or I answer the phone in the studio, we never know who is on the other end, and what question we may hear. We know it's human nature to pick up the phone and call, instead of listening to the radio and hear the information as we present it. We can give school closures every ten minutes, and will still receive 20 calls wanting to know about a certain school. If you do call, be sure to ask about a specific school, believe it or not we have people asking if their school is closed, without telling us the name of the school. It's OK, we've been doing this a long time, we're seasoned vets. Another frequent question has to do with the name of certain songs. Listeners will call in and say they are looking for the name of a certain song, they don't know the artist, but they heard it on our station about a week ago. Oh yeah, it had the word love, and someone had a broken heart. We usually need a little more info than that, but you would be surprised how many people get a little snippy because we can't come up with the title. Some people want to know about a commercial we played at 4:30 in the morning, and are in dire need of that 1-800 number. Sometimes I just can't help you locate that miracle diet pill that is going to take those unwanted inches off of your hips, I was sleeping. We have had requests to play a song for someone who doesn't even live in the state, or the country. Listeners have asked what time events start, like church bingo games, or a group's quilting class at the grange hall. We're sorry, but we don't know everything. I had an elderly women years ago want to know what time her family reunion started, bless her heart. So keep in mind when you call in with your questions, be patient, if we can get you the answers we will be more than happy to, but sometimes we have no idea like everyone else.
