CBC Women Ballers Are Queens Of The Hill

Hats off to the Columbia Basin College women's basketball team for hanging on and winning the NWAACC tournament championship game 60 to 59 over Yakima Valley Community College.

Talk about a cliff hanger!

With basically no time on the clock, Yakima missed a put back to give the win to the Lady Hawks. Katherine Samuels of CBC was named tourney MVP, but she will be the first to tell you it was a total team effort. If you were at the game last night, you would think 9.4 seconds was an eternity, but it was CBC's time to shine. Great job girls and congratulations from Town Square Media and 102.7 KORD.
