Best Comedian Of All Time Ever, Drumroll Please – Chuck’s Top 5

Melonville Comedy Festival is this Saturday, Jan. 28 in Hermiston, Oregon. This makes 19 years and still going strong.

This years line up is another strong one with Roy Wood Jr., Chris Alpine and Nathan Brannon. Tickets are still available at the Hermiston Community Center.

If you're a little down, buy a ticket and come laugh your a&% off. Truly, laughter is the best medicine. I recall sitting around an old record player listening to Bill Cosby, over and over and over, laughing  just as hard the fifth time we heard it. Bill Cosby could tell a story without cussing and offending anyone. Then one day we snuck into my friend's older brother's room and found a George Carlin record -- Holy Cow! This was not a Bill Cosby record! I believe that is where I learned to cuss.

Then came Cheech and Chong, Redd Foxx, Richard Pryer, Jerry Seinfeld, etc. In the day of raunch comics like Eddie Murphy and Andrew Dice Clay, Jerry Seinfeld was another comic who could bring the house down without cussing or being vulger.

So many great comics, and only the best made my list.
