3 Percent of First Dates Eventually Turn into Marriages

According to a new study, about 3% of first dates eventually turn into marriages.  That means there's a one-in-33 chance the next person you meet for drinks and awkward conversation is your future spouse. The study also found approximately how many milestones you have to pass before dating transitions into a serious relationship with marriage potential - here's the list:

--22 romantic dinners.

--Five meals out with each other's friends . . . and becoming friends with at least 55% of their friends.

--Seven major arguments.

--Two trips together.

--Not just meeting each other's parents, but staying at their houses.

--And spending about $4,700 on each other.
