WSP Says Alcohol a Factor in Fatal Franklin County Wreck
The Washington State Patrol says alcohol was a factor in a fatal Franklin County wreck involving three cars Saturday morning.
The crash happened around 0715 Saturday morning on State Route 17, southbound about a mile-and-a-half north of Mesa.
WSP says 24-year old Sandra Castoreno was driving a white 2013 Acura under the influence of alcohol when she crossed the center line and crashed into two other cars.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. The other drivers she struck were taken to the hospital and they are expected to recover from their injuries.
