Who Purposely Rolled a Vehicle Into the Yakima River in West Richland?
Accidents happen, but apparently, this was no accident. Was it an attempt to get rid of fingerprints or other possible forensic evidence?
According to reports, this morning near the Yakima River Crossing at Van Giesen and South 38th Avenue, someone intentionally crashed the vehicle into the river and rolled it in.
If it was indeed a case of trying to hide evidence or fingerprints, then the perpetrator or perpetrators need to watch more true crime shows! Even setting a vehicle on fire doesn't always get rid of fingerprints as the ash a soot often preserve and highlight prints instead of destroying them.
Water damage can destroy evidence, but it's actually amazing how the oils in a person's fingertips can leave a lasting impression that won't just wash away with water.
