school lunch

We've been hearing a lot about school lunches since Michelle Obama became First Lady. I thought her push was to get healthier lunches, but I noticed my kids are served a lot of pizza and nachos. I asked a lunch lady with the Richland School District and her answer blew me away.

So I graduated from high school in 1979 (Hanford Falcons YEAH!) I spent the last couple of years in school jumping in my buddy's car and heading to to Artic Circle drive in in Richland, maybe McDonalds. But before we got our driver's licenses and we could leave campus we had to eat school lunch or pack our own lunch...

I was cruising thru my friends Facebook page the other day when I saw that he was ranting about some poor kid that had their lunch taken away from them. It made me read on!
