Scientists Believe Chance of Cascadia Earthquake is Heightened Right Now!

Last weeks 4.2 earthquake which was recorded near Belfair Washington and a cluster of hundreds of small quakes in the Puget Sound has scientists raising the alarm of something larger to come!

According to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network (PNSN) at the University of Washington the semi annual 'Slow Slip' has begun and is essentially a slow deep earthquake that lasts on average of 2 weeks. If the Seattle fault line slips it could produce and earthquake ranging from a 5 or 6 magnitude all the way up to a 9....SCARY
