Richland native and soccer super star Hope Solo is going to be the subject of an upcoming biopic spotlighting her life and accomplishments.

Solo is famous for playing goalie for the USWNT for 16 years and won the 2015 Women's World Cup and two Olympic gold medals in 2008 and 2012.

Hope has also been controversial on and off the field as well, she's made controversial comments concerning her coaches and has been arrested for allegedly assaulting her sister but the charges where dropped.

She also performed and danced as a contestant on "Dancing With The Stars" in 2011 and penned an auto-biography.

Solo Hope's career is undeniable as she's a holder of two Olympic gold medals.

Drew Brees is one of the Executive Producers of the film and Argent Films is set to produce.
