Rascal Flatts may have just wrapped up their summertime Flatts Fest Tour, but they are already looking ahead to 2012 and have announced their next headlining trek. The Thaw Out Tour is set to kick off on January 12 in Charleston, W.V. at the Civic Center Coliseum and will wrap on February 18 when they stop in East Rutherford, N.J. after visiting 14 cities.

For the new tour, the Flatts — Gary LeVox, Joe Don Rooney and Jay DeMarcus — are taking along newcomer Hunter Hayes, as well as Sara Evans, who was also part of Flatts Fest this year.

Next month, Rascal Flatts are nominated once again in the Vocal Group of the Year category at the CMA Awards, set to air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, November 9 on ABC. Following the CMAs, the band will head to Las Vegas for the second annual American Country Awards, where they have received a total of three nominations. The ACAs will air on December 5 on the FOX network.
