Take the plunge into the frigid waters of the Columbia river tomorrow!  Last check the water temperature was at 37 degrees!As of 4pm today over 600 people have registered to take the plunge for Special Olympics of Washington!  Online registration is closed.  You can register and pick up your packets this afternoon from 4pm to 7pm at the Kennewick Fred Meyer or from 9am to 11:30 am at the Columbia park boat launch (near the Blue Bridge).   We jump at noon!

Bring plenty of towels and a change of clothes!

Special Olympics Polar Plunge Series is a fundraising effort organized by law enforcement agencies across the state to benefit Special Olympics Washington. This unique opportunity gives individuals, organizations and businesses the chance to support Special Olympics Washington by collecting pledges for the “opportunity” to plunge into frigid water across Washington State.

Avoid lines and pick up your registration packet at the Fred Meyer in Kennewick from 4PM-7PM on today and receive a FREE Polar Plunge Towel from our sponsor, Fred Meyer!

Online registration is closed. You can register Friday at packet pick up or onsite at Columbia Park Saturday morning at 9:00AM.!

Plunging beings at noon! Please check-in onsite no later than 11:30am!

Anyone who raises $250.00 or more will be treated to breakfast the morning of the Polar Plunge provided by Knights of Columbus! Breakfast will be served between 10:00AM - 11:30AM.
